The PsySR Blog Comment Policy
We do not censor comments based on political or ideological point of view. However, we reserve the right to delete those comments we deem are abusive, off-topic, use excessive foul language, or include ad hominem attacks. We moderate comments on our blog posts and post-moderate comments on news stories.
How do I post a comment?
You must register with The PsySR Blog in order to post a comment on one of our articles (see next question for instructions). After your comment is submitted, our blog editors will review it and determine if it complies with our aforementioned Comments Policy listed above. If approved, your comment should appear within 24-48 hours of its submission. If you have questions about submitted comments that have not appeared after that time, please Fill Out Our Contact Form and bring this issue to our attention.
How do I register for The PsySR Blog?
From our Home Page scroll-down until you see “Login or Register” on the right-hand side of the page. Follow these instructions:
- Click “Register“.
- Enter a username and email address (A password will be e-mailed to you).
- Click “Register” again.
- You’ll see a message stating “Registration complete. Please check your e-mail“.
- Once you retrieve your new password via email, return to the Login Page and log in.
- After you are logged in, you have the option of filling out your Profile under “Personal Options“, and you can also create a new password if you scroll down to where it say “New Password” on the Profile page.
How do I submit an article to the PsySR Blog?
PsySR is always looking for contributors with expertise in addressing today’s societal challenges and building cultures of peace and social justice. Please see the following page to Submit an Article.

Our moderators work to review and approve comments as soon as possible. If you have submitted a comment and more than 48 hours has passed, please Fill Out Our Contact Form for further assistance.

Psychologists for Social Responsibility (PsySR) is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community of members and supporters. Spanning a range of disciplinary perspectives and professional backgrounds, we share a commitment to the application of psychological knowledge in addressing today’s pressing societal challenges and in building cultures of peace with social justice. Our members are psychologists, mental health professionals from all fields, other social scientists, researchers, teachers, students, and other activists. Our efforts and activities are supported primarily through membership dues, donations, and project grants. We can’t do our work and achieve our goals without you.
