PsySR is excited to introduce “PsySR Initiatives,” a new way for members to engage with each other in identifying and pursuing shared interests and commitments.
Initiatives are similar to our Action Committees, but with a looser format. They are generally actions or research in a developing stage, or currently less active or “committee-like” than in the past. Initiatives have more modest expectations in terms of the scale of their activities and/or the number of members involved. They have a twice-yearly opportunity to be named Action Committees through broader involvement of PsySR members and significant progress on one or more major projects.
If you are interested in joining an ongoing initiative or an initiative-under-development described below, please contact the PsySR member whose email address is provided. If you would like to explore the possibility of starting your own initiative, please email info@psysr.org with a description of the proposed initiative’s focus and goals.
We hope many PsySR members will take advantage of the opportunities provided by our new PsySR Initiatives program.
