Now Available: APA Task Force Report on Resources for the Inclusion of Social Class in Psychology Curricula

PsySRThe American Psychological Association’s Office on Socioeconomic Status announces the availability of a new teaching tool designed to encourage the incorporation of social class diversity into psychology education. Resources for the Inclusion of Social Class in Psychology Curricula is jointly sponsored by divisions 9-Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues and 35-Society for the Psychology of Women. It is appropriate for use at all levels of psychology education. This resource, created in response to the needs and opportunities for psychological contributions in raising social class consciousness, is available HERE.

US Peace Memorial Foundation Looking for Volunteers

The US Peace Memorial Foundation is looking for part-time volunteers (4 or more hours per month): assistant editors to update the US Peace Registry; investigators to locate contact information for people whose anti-war behavior has been publicized in the media; researchers to find and document specific references for anti-war quotes of famous US citizens; and marketing specialists to help clarify the organization’s vision and communicate it to new grassroots audiences.
